Low carbon strengthens technological innovation in paper industry

my country's traditional paper industry is dominated by straw pulp, the proportion of which is as high as 80%. The proportion of wood pulp in developed countries in the world's paper industry is as high as 90%. The serious pollution caused by this unreasonable raw material structure mainly comes from the sewage from the chemical pulping of wheat straw. It is understood that COD emissions from grass pulping account for more than 60% of the emissions of the entire paper industry, and it is still the main source of pollution. Only by increasing the supply of high-quality long fibers, increasing the proportion of wood pulp, eliminating outdated straw pulp production lines, and optimizing the structure of my country's papermaking raw materials, can the problem of environmental pollution caused by my country's papermaking be solved. At present, some large domestic paper industry groups are accelerating the implementation of the forest-pulp-paper integration construction strategy and accelerating the accumulation of forest carbon sinks, thus driving the optimization and upgrading of the entire paper industry.
